The Time Has Come…

GET EXCITED ABOUT BREAKING RECORDS, DOING HUGE THINGS AND LIVING ALL YOU CAN BE, THAT’S WHAT NOW CAN BE ABOUT.

High Octane Realtor Lesson Number One….

Skills, skills, and more skills! Information, information, and more information! From our experience most realtors are in search of skill sets, but pay very little attention to mind-set, the most important key critical ingredient to success! ONE MUST HAVE PROPER MINDSET.

I remember when Andre Agassi hired Tony Robbins to help him with his tennis game. At that time, Andre was ranked thirtieth in the world. Tony was not even a tennis player…so how did he assist Andre in going from thirtieth in the world to first in the world? Well, it was not new skill sets that Tony taught-it was mind-set.

Success is 20 percent skill sets and 80 percent mind-set. The high-octane Realtor must have the proper mind-set to create what they are committed to creating.

I look at mind-set as a filter. Whatever goes through the filter comes out at the other end, yet what comes out at the other end is based upon the cleanliness and functionality of that filter. If dirty water comes out of the filter, then one does not need to replace the water, just the filter, as the water moves through the filter.

If you took two people and gave them the same task, and one had a positive filter and the other one had a negative filter, would there be a difference in outcomes? Many would answer “Most definitely,” and I would agree. It seems that many training companies focus on skill sets, and few focus on the mind-set necessary to win. I’m sure you know somebody who

DO NOT HOPE FOR YOUR SUCCESS. YOU MUST ENSURE IT.

Already has the necessary skill sets to win, but unfortunately is missing the mind-set to win. In the work that I do, I invest 80 percent of my time working on developing the mind-set and invest 20 percent on the skill set to win.

If winning at the Real Estate business is of high importance for you then you must determine why you are in the origination business and develop the proper mind-set. Once you know why you are in the origination business, you will figure out how to do the business.

Why’s come first; how’s come second. Most seem to want to figure out how to do this business but have very few compelling reasons why they do this business. The why is the drive, the motivation, the mind-set, the fuel-and if all of these are high enough, then you will figure out the mechanics of this business.

The key is to work on your head, instead of your head working on you, take charge, take control of what you are committed to, emerge as number 1!
